With demonstrations taking place in various places and for various reasons, what do you think of when you hear of or see such an occasion?

A demonstration like many have never heard of or taken part in took place on Sunday, Sept. 24, at Grassycrest Farm in Slippery Rock.

Richard J. Kind, 86, was memorialized for more than five hours. His exemplary life was something to experience. How proud and humbled are his family.

All of this celebration was because of Richard having accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and living the life of a just and upright man.

Proverbs 20:7 states: “The just man walketh in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.”

Job 1:1 states: “There was a man ... whose name was Job (Richard) and that man was perfect and upright and one that feared God and shunned evil.”

These verses describe Richard Kind. What a celebration of his eternal homecoming!
